Content: | This item is a Japanese language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet announces the unconditional surrender of Italy after the defeat in Sicily and the collapse of the military government. It mentions that the Allied Forces can now deploy considerable strength to war theatres in East Asia. The message urges the Japanese to surrender before it is too late. 60,000 of them were printed. |
