Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office at the request of the 6th Army. The message states that it is regrettable that the Japanese troops have to greet the Emperor's birthday when defeats are being suffered everywhere and the military leaders are again unable to offer the Emperor a victory on his birthday. It questions how long the incompetent military leaders can deceive the Emperor concerning the war situation. |
