Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda material produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. The message describes in detail symptoms of a disease, called Japanese River Fever, which is transmitted by a mite called the mokka. It warns that infection from a mokka bite is fatal and that numbers of Japanese soldiers in New Guinea are dying from the Japanese River Fever. 20,000 of them were printed. |
