Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is provided. The message quotes Admiral NOMURA Kichisaburô, who, in an interview in December 1943, compared the former Dutch East Indies to the heart of Japan because of its oil and vital military raw materials. He then predicted that the loss of this "heart" would be the death blow to Japan.
