Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is provided. Major events covered by this issue include the surrender of Germany, the fall of Rangoon, the recapture of Borneo by the Australian forces, the war situation on Okinawa and the air raids on mainland Japan by B-29 bombers. 60,000 of them were printed. 7,5000 of these leaflets were dispatched to 200 Sqn on 12 May 1945, 27,000 to Lae on 15 May 1945 and 29,000 to Torokina on 13 May 1945. |
