| Content: | This item consists of three apparently unrelated documents, the first of which is a set of instructions for guard duty. Although the specific location is not mentioned, the instructions request that particular attention be paid to guarding the "castle gate." The second document is a list (probably compiled in 1943) of officers to be given military decorations, and lists the name and rank of each recipient, and level of decoration being bestowed. The third document is part of a medical record listing the names of soldiers hospitalised during September (probably 1943) due to illness or injury, the date of hospitalisation and the nature of each complaint. This item was captured at Nambel in August 1944. |
