Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. Matters discussed include an special amendment bill aimed at imposing strict penalties against criticism of government policy, the loss in the battle of the Bismarck Sea, the situation of the war between Russia and Germany, the loss of merchant ships in Burma, the souring relationship between Germany and Japan, etc. 54,000 of them were printed.
