Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is provided. This issue is dated on 1 July 1943. Major events covered by this issue include the funeral of Admiral YAMAMOTO, the air battle over Guadalcanal resulting in the loss of 74 planes byJapan, the defeat of the Italians in the Mediterranean, the isolated Japanese troops in New Guinea, the increased production capacity of the US war industries and the declining fertility rate in Japan.
