Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet which is dated on 7 December 1943 states that people in Formosa and Korea have been oppressed and discriminated against by the Japanese and that their suffering in the jungles in the Pacific from bombings and diseases stems from the aggression of Japan. The message promises peoples from Formosa and Korea that if they surrender to the Allied Forces, they will be treated properly. 50,000 of them were printed.
