Content: | This Japanese-language propaganda leaflet was produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office at the end of the Pacific War. An English translation of the text is attached. It is dated 21 July 1945. It informs the Japanese troops that a boat will be sent on 28 July to receive surrendered soldiers. No patrol party will be sent until 30 July so that Japanese troops can move to the beaches between Pilowo and Wajaboela. It urges the troops to "live for the new Japan". |
