Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured on 25 January 1945 at an unknown location (presumably in the Philippines during the Allied campaign to capture the Philippines). This item contains army transfer lists nos. 140, 142, 144 and 147-151 issued between 21 July and 1 August 1944 by the War Ministry. It includes lists of staff assignments to armies and divisions, the appoint of civilian administration officers, civil engineers and technical officers, the appointments of the aide-de-camp to the Supreme War Councillor General USHIROKU and Field Marshal SUGIYAMA, and the appointment of Field Marshall SUGIYAMA as Minister of War.
