This item is an extract of officer and unit identification lists and reports of damage and casualties taken in the Solomon Islands, New Britain and New Guinea for the period 16 August to 20 December 1943. The information is taken from an intelligence report from Shin (4th Air Army) Staff Section, Shin Liaison Centre and Rabaul Defence Headquarters.
