Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147775 of the 68th Independent Field Anti-aircraft Battalion, who, while weak from hunger, was taken by natives and handed over to US troops at Wari (Manokwari) on 9 May 1944. During the interrogation, JA147775 provided information on ammunition supplies at Hollandia, anti-aircraft training at Chiba and Hiratsuka, Allied prisoners of war at Tsurumi Dockyard (near Yokohama) and that new anti-aircraft regiments had been organised as a consequence of the Doolittle raids.
