Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. It is dated on 12 February 1945. This issue covers events such as the mopping-up operation by the Allies in Manila, the bombing of the Japanese mainland by B-29s, the blazing fire in Berlin after the bombing on 3 February, a new British offensive in Holland and the conference between Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin at the Black Sea. 100,000 of them were printed. 20,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Lae, 20,000 to Torokina, 18,600 to Hollandia, 20,000 to Darwin and 25,000 to Morotai. They were all dispatched on 19 February 1945. |
