Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Mongi River on 3 October 1943. This item is from a manual entitled "Textbook of Military Organisation", published on 1 November 1937 by the Military Training School. It contains an annotated colour map showing peace-time dispositions of Japan's standing army in Sachalien [Sakhalin], Hokkaido, Japan, Korea and Formosa.
