Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Superior Private JA147009 of the 141st Infantry Regiment Provisional Anti-tank Company Headquarters Group, who was captured at Target Hill near Cape Bushing on 7 January 1944. JA147009, a 27 year old Superior Private from Kôchi, was captured by US troops while his company was withdrawing. During the interrogation, JA147009 provided informations on unit organisation, movements, defence installations and the road network in the Cape Gloucester area, and Garove Island.
