Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured in the Sanananda area on 22 January 1943. This item contains operational orders, transport regulations, observations about enemy movements and tactics for operations on the Kokoda Track between 2 October and 7 November 1942. It also contains orders and bulletins relating to the Japanese withdrawal following Allied counter-offensives in early November and the encirclement of the Oivi-Gorari stronghold in the Owen Stanley Ranges.
