The reports contain detailed information and maps on the following: the strength, organisation and tactics of guerrilla groups; Japanese punitive operations; conflict between communist groups; US guerrilla units and Filipino guerrilla groups; wireless communication; submarine communications; air raids by US aircraft and Filipino morale. They also contain a general appraisal of the effectiveness of Allied reconnaissance and bombing operations and comments on the anticipated use of chemical warfare.
