Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. One side of the leaflet has a text in Japanese and the other an English translation of the Japanese text. The text is about an imaginary conversation between two Japanese soldiers about the value of learning English. One of them mentions in the conversation that learning English will take their minds off things such as wounds, disease and poor food. He also complains that their chiefs have made great errors and the war is a waste. 30,000 of them were printed.
