Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. The message stresses that many Japanese soldiers died without fighting due to the lack of food and medication. It urges Japanese soldiers to surrender rather than to continue fighting auseless war. The message also tries to convince the Japanese that there is no use fighting with bodies weakened by tropical diseases. 100,000 of them were printed. |
