Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. The leaflet advises the commanders of the Japanese forces in Indonesia that the Japanese government announced its readiness to accept the Allies' terms of surrender on 11 August 1945. An English translation of the text is attached. The plates were sent to Morotai and Balikpapan on 14 August.
