Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of Japanese documents captured at an unknown location, date unknown, but presumably 1942 . The item contains orders and bulletins issued between 3 April 1942 and 24 June 1943 at Singapore and during the Philippine campaigns. It contains references to the condition and conduct of Japanese troops in Singapore, the treatment of prisoners of war in Singapore, the Japanese response to local resistance fighters in Malaya, and the condition and conduct of Japanese troops in the Philippines. This item also contains receipts for rations issued to prisoners of war in Malaya between April and May 1942.
