Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet states that the Japanese military leaders have not been honest about the war situation because they are afraid of the reaction of the public. It says that the military leaders cannot be honest because they are aware that they acted against the will of the Japanese people to start the Greater East Asia War and they feel that the call up of reverses would not be accepted by the public. 50,000 of them were printed. |
