Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured in Tacloban on 22 October 1944 during the Allied campaign to recapture the Philippines. This item is an extract from a booklet entitled "Research on air defense of strategic zones", written by Lieutenant Commander HATAKEYAMA Kuninori, dated August 1943.
