Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. This issue covers matters such as the disappointment among Japanese people with the recent performance of their forces, the capture of the Huon Peninsula by the Australian and American forces, the occupation of Green Island by the Allied Forces, the daily bombing of Japanese positions in Rabaul and Kavieng, the situation in the Marshall Islands and the naval victory of the Allies in Truk. 100,000 of them were printed.
