Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for 3rd Class Seaman YOKOTA Shigeki of the Sasebo 5th Special Naval Landing Party, who was captured on Goodenough Island on 7 July 1943. YOKOTA, a 23 year old 3rd Class Seaman from Kôchi, was captured by local people in a local person's hut. During the interrogation, YOKOTA provided information on naval boats gathered at Tankan on Etorofu Island for the Pearl Harbor attack in November 1941. |
