Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet reports the substantial loss of shipping capacity by Japan during the battle off the Philippines from 22 to 28 October 1944. It is predicted that the Allied victory in this naval battle will result in extending the range of operation of the Allied Forces. 100,000 of them were printed. 52,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Darwin on 14 November 1944, 51,140 on 17 November 1944.
