Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. It reports the bombing of the Japanese mainland, the advance of the American troops towards Naha, Okinawa, the capture of Foochow, the air raids on Formosa and the situation in Burma. The leaflet also discusses the capture of Heinrich Himmler. 60,000 of them were printed. 33,500 of these leaflets were dispatched to Lae on 5 June 1945, and 30,000 to Torokina on 5 June 1945. |
