| Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. The message points out that the Japanese Air Force has not conducted any effective air raids on the Allied positions and has also failed to protect the supply lines to New Guinea. Japanese soldiers are warned that the Japanese authorities are making ground forces die a dog's death while the Air Force avoids combats. The message also criticises the Japanese strategy which has resulted in spreading the strength of the Air Force over many war theatres. 119,000 of them were printed. |
