Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured in the Philippines on 25 December 1944 during the US campaign to recapture the islands. This item is a pamphlet entitled "Experimental data on destruction of tanks with demolition charges", issued in July 1944 by the War Ministry, Imperial General Headquarters. It contains information and charts on various mines and their effectiveness against medium tanks. Also included is a sketch of assault dispositions for a tank-destroying platoon and a section on the equipment and methods used to undertake suicide anti-tank measures. |
