Content: This item is a pictorial propaganda leaflet with captions in Japanese, which was produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. The English translation of the captions is provided. The leaflet which is dated on 1 December 1943 includes six pictures depicting the bombing of Rabaul on 2 November 1943, an air raid on Salamaua, and the life of Allied soldiers. Each photo is accompanied by a brief caption in Japanese. The pictures of the Allied soldiers give the impression that they are provided with sufficient food, ammunition and medical treatment. 150,000 of them were printed.
