Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. The message warns that air attacks by the Allies will increase five fold in two months as bombers will be deployed from Europe to Asia and that Japanese industries and cities will be completely destroyed within six months. The message states that the best way for Japanese soldiers to serve the country is to cease fire and to surrender immediately so that they can take part in the post-war reconstruction of Japan.
