Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) research report on Japanese gas masks. The enquiry was received on 9 September 1943 and an answer despatched on 2 October 1943. The report contains information about six types of gas masks, including year of manufacture, optical eyepieces, regions where most commonly used, respirators and mask manufacturers.
