Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. There is an illustration on one side of the leaflet, showing that bombs are now falling on to Taiwan and mainland Japan. The message on the other side reports the operation on Luzon coming towards end and the continuous air raids on mainland Japan by the American Air Force. The message questions what the Japanese Air Force and Navy are doing now. It urges the recipient to surrender so that he can live to contribute to the post-war reconstruction of Japan. The message stresses that the only duty left for a Japanese soldier is to live and to serve the nation in the future.
