Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147077 of the 1st Shipping Engineer Regt, 2nd Company, who was wounded when captured near Ibogi (New Britain) by US Marines on 26 February 1944. During the interrogation, JA147077 provided information on the location and facilities of the Kasumigaura Airfield, Ibaraki Prefecture, the Shimizu Group building contractors and the Haneda Joint Stock Company. The appendix includes sketch maps of Tsuchiura-Arakawa area, the Kasumigaura Airfield and the Haneda Joint Stock Company and surrounds.
