Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Superior Private JA145600 of the 51st Division Independent Engineer Company 3rd Platoon 2nd Section, who was captured in Yalu on 10 October 1943. JA145600, a 25 year old Superior Private from Aichi, was ill with malaria when he was captured by Australian troops during the retreat from Lae. During the interrogation, JA145600 provided information on his unit organisation, movements, and morale.
