Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Lae on 20 September shortly after the fall of Lae and the Japanese retreat across the Finisterre Ranges. This item contains the orders and bulletins for the 22nd Airfield Battalion between 17 May and 22 September 1942 while stationed at Palembang, Sumatra. It contains routine daily orders, duties, transfers, discipline, health measures and notes on epidemic conditions in occupied countries.
