Content: This item is the personal diary of TAGAMI Toshiyuki from the Seibu 16th Unit, part of the Western Division Army. It contains details of TAGAMI's travels from Kumamoto to the Philippines. It also includes the text of several songs, an Imperial admonition on reciting Chinese poetry, and vocabulary lists in Tagalog and Bisaya. It was captured in the Philippines in late 1944 or early 1945.
