Content: This item consists of a style manual for military writing issues by the Dept of Military Training and published by Senryûdô of Tokyo in Dec 1942. It contains a guide to the use of characters, rules for using okurigana, rules for auxuliary verbs, idiomatic expressions, explanation of terms, rules for military terminology, rules for numbers, and several appendices dealing with punctutation and style rules. The book belonged to OISHI (KOISHI?) Ichizô and was probably captured in the Philippines in late 1944 or early 1945.
