Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda material produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. It reports that the shortage of ships has prevented Japan from transporting abundant natural resources available in Japanese-occupied territories to the mainland and the territories colonised by Japan. The message attributes the grave shipping problem to the inability of the Japanese military clique. The English translation states that the purpose of the leaflet is to confirm and to intensify the doubts about the shipping position in the minds of the Japanese. 100,000 of them were printed.
