Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147262 of the 65th Brigade Engineer Company, who was captured in Numondo in Kimbe Bay on 29 March 1944. JA147262, a 29 year old 2nd Lieutenant from Hiroshima Prefecture, was ill with malaria and lagging behind his unit when he was captured by US Marines. He was a Medical Officer. During the supplementary interrogation, JA147262 provided information on malaria and injuries that had occurred in Natamo and the Philippines.
