Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. It is accompanied by an English translation of the text. It reports the defeat and surrender of the South Expeditionary Force in Buna, Gona and Sanananda, the death of Lieutenant General HORII, the defeat of the Japanese troops advancing from Mubo to Wau and deaths of Japanese soldiers from hunger in a jungle. It stresses that the Japanese are in a hopeless situation. 50,000 of them were printed.
