Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Superior Private NAGANO Masayoshi of the 20th Independent Mountain Artillery Battalion 3rd Company 2nd Platoon, who was captured in Giruwa on 25 January 1943. NAGANO, a 23 year old Superior Private from Fukuoka, was captured in Giruwa while caring for a wounded companion in a pill-box. NAGANO was a gunner in his unit. During the interrogation, NAGANO provided information on his unit organisation, previous operations in Hong Kong and Philippines, mountain guns and their performance, and social conditions in Japan. The report includes diagrams of the BO Type Mountain Guns.
