Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Busanga Island (northern Palawan island group) on 5 May 1945 during the US campaign to recapture the Philippines. This item is a collection of Imperial General Headquarters Navy Staff (Baku) Section 1, Ultrasecret serials Nos 206, 208, 222 and one unnumbered. It contains tables of activation and departure of first phase, initial stage and final stage Emergency Combat Forces and Emergency Combat Air Defence Forces, issued between 10 July and 3 August 1944, issued by Imperial General Headquarters Navy Staff (San) Section, Department 1. Tables give number of units and place activated for gun and mortar batteries, searchlight units, lookout stations, radar squads and fire control squads assigned in Nampo Shoto, Nasei Shoto, Formosa, the Philippines and Kato.
