Content: | This Japanese-language pamphlet was produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Pacific War. An English translation of the text is attached. It states that the Japanese government ordered its troops to lay down their arms on 14 August 1945 on the orders of the Emperor. As repatriation will be carried out some time later, it urges Japanese troops to wait for detailed instructions from the Allied authorites. |
