Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. It is accompanied by an English translation of the text. This issue covers events such as the campaign in Burma, the British air attack on Sumatra, the periodical bombing on Madang, Wewak, Rabaul and Kavieng and the capture of Cape Hopkins and Gasmata by the Allied Forces. It also reports that a 10-month-old Japanese baby and her 3-year-old brother were interned by the US Navy. The war situation in Europe and the sinking of German ships are also reported. 50,000 of them were printed.
