Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Cape Dinga near Nassau Bay on 15 July 1943 during the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Ranges. This item is an instruction manual on field service regulations for baggage and ammunition groups published on 20 June 1941 by authority of the Japanese War Ministry. It contains general rules and regulations, training principles, formations, rules for combat operations and for crossing various types of terrain.
