Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) research report on the movements of 4th Division troops and the commander of the 64th Independent Mixed Brigade. The enquiry was received on 31 July 1943 and an answer despatched on 2 August 1943. The report relayed information gathered from prisoner of war Leading Private OGINO Seiichi (Interrogation reports no. 66) on the location, duties and commanders of the 4th Field Artillery Regiment (4th Division) in China, the Philippines and later Malaya. OGINO also claimed not to know the subordinate commanders of the 64th Independent Mixed Brigade. |
