ATSUMI, a 24 year old Superior Private from Aichi, was captured by Australian troops when he was going to another island in the Trobriands. During the interrogation, ATSUMI initially gave a false name, MASE Tamotsu, but later provided information on the unit organisation, artillery guns, Hamamatsu Army Air Training School, and the situation in Japan.
