Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Mission Point on 25 September 1943 during the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Range. This item is a technical manual published in 1939 entitled "Reference drawings and explanations for handling guns" and contains a collection of coloured charts showing methods of disassembling a Type 41 Mountain Gun, a Type 94 37 mm Gun, and a Type 92 Infantry Gun. The manual was written by Major KIMURA, Artillery Instructor at the Army Engineer School.
